A daily planner with one rule

Three tasks.
Actually done.

Most to-do apps let you pile up twenty tasks and finish none. Triad asks you to pick the three that matter each morning, gives each one a focus timer, and rewards you for finishing all three.

All three, done.

Your streak is now 13 days. See you tomorrow.

Try it: tap Mark complete three times.

Sound familiar?

You don't need a bigger list. You need a shorter one.

A man at his laptop surrounded by lists of 17, 9 and 6 tasks, with three highlighted tasks beside him
17 tasks on the list. 2 finished.

Your to-do list is longer than your day.

Every new task feels small when you add it. By evening the list has grown, the important thing is still there, and you feel behind before tomorrow even starts.

Triad caps your day at three. There is no way to add a fourth. You choose what matters, and the rest waits for another day.

Messages. WhatsApp. YouTube. Gmail.

Something pulls your attention every few minutes.

You sit down to work, then one notification turns into twenty minutes somewhere else. The hard part isn't knowing what to do. It's staying on it.

One task on screen, one timer running.Start a focus session and the whole screen becomes that task. The screen stays awake, and the timer keeps going even if you lock your phone.
A desk where everything is marked as a priority
Everything is urgent.

When everything feels important, nothing gets done.

Without a clear choice, you spend the day reacting. Small easy tasks get done first and the work that would move you forward keeps sliding to tomorrow.

A two-minute decision each morning.Plan your three, then get to work. The plan stays editable all day, and a fresh day starts at 4 am.
How it works

One small loop, every day.

  1. Morning

    Plan your three

Write the three tasks that would make today a good day. Each one starts with sensible settings: 25 minutes and a category. Stuck? Ask for ideas, or reuse a task you've done before.

  2. During the day

Focus on one at a time

Swipe to a task and tap Focus. Pick 10, 25, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. Pause when life happens; your time is kept.

  3. Evening

    Finish all three

Mark each one complete. Finish all three and your streak grows by a day. Tomorrow, you start fresh.

Features

Everything you need for three tasks. Nothing you don't.

No backlog, no projects, no clutter. Each feature exists to help you finish today's three.

Focus timer

A timer that keeps time, even when your phone sleeps

Six presets up to two hours. A soft alert tells you when time is up, even if the app is closed.

The best part of the day

Only the third check celebrates.

Finishing one task is good. Finishing all three is the point, so that's the moment Triad celebrates. You close the day knowing you did what you set out to do.
